2. Data Collected
SaleFre collects the following categories of personal data, always in accordance with the principles of data minimization, lawfulness, and transparency:
2.1 Data voluntarily provided by the User
- Registration data: full name, email address, and encrypted password (when the User creates an account).
- Profile data: product preferences, wish lists, and notification settings.
- Communications: messages sent through contact forms or email.
2.2 Data collected automatically
- Browsing data: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, time spent, and referring pages.

3. Purpose of Processing

5. Retention Periods
Personal data will be retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described, and in particular:
- Account data: for as long as the User keeps their account active. After a deletion request, the data will be retained in a blocked state for the legal limitation periods (5 years from the last interaction, in accordance with the general statute-of-limitations period established in Article 2560 of the Argentine Civil and Commercial Code, Law No. 26,994).
- Browsing and cookie data: as indicated in the Cookie Policy.
- Communications: for 2 years from the last communication.
- Billing and accounting data: 10 years in accordance with Argentine tax obligations.
Once the retention periods have elapsed, the data will be securely deleted or irreversibly anonymized.

Under Argentina's Personal Data Protection Law No. 25,326 and, where applicable, the GDPR, the User has the following rights:

Obtain confirmation as to whether we are processing your personal data and access it.
Rectification
Request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
Erasure
Request the deletion of your data when it is no longer necessary.
Objection
Object to the processing of your data for specific purposes, such as direct marketing.

To exercise these rights, the User must send a request by email to legal@salefre.com, attaching a copy of their identification document. SaleFre will respond within a maximum period of 10 (ten) business days, in accordance with Argentina's Personal Data Protection Law No. 25,326. For Users whose data is governed by the GDPR, the applicable response period is 1 (one) month from receipt of the request, in accordance with Article 12 of the GDPR, extendable by two additional months in cases of particular complexity.
Security warning: For their own safety, the User should not send a copy of their identification document through unencrypted or insecure channels (for example, non-HTTPS web forms or social media). As a less sensitive alternative, SaleFre may request a lightweight identity verification, such as confirmation of the request from the email address registered on the User's account, without requiring the submission of additional documentation when that is sufficient to establish the requester's identity.
7. Cookie Policy
SaleFre uses cookies and similar technologies to ensure the proper functioning of the Site, analyze traffic, and manage Amazon affiliate links. The cookies used include:
- Essential cookies: necessary for navigation and use of basic functionalities.
- Functionality cookies: remember the User's preferences.

Passwords are stored using bcrypt hashing and data is kept on secure servers.

Access to data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

SaleFre is not directed at children under 13 years of age (or 16 years of age in jurisdictions where the GDPR applies). We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
If a parent or guardian discovers that a minor has provided personal data without their consent, they should contact us immediately at legal@salefre.com so that we can proceed to delete such information.

SaleFre reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be published on this page with the updated effective date.
