1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites store in the User's browser when a web page is visited. Cookies allow the site to remember the User's actions and preferences (such as login, language, font size, and other display preferences) over a period of time, so that the User does not have to re-enter them every time they return to the site or navigate from one page to another.
At SaleFre we use first-party and third-party cookies to ensure the proper functioning of the Site, analyze traffic, and manage our Amazon affiliate program.
2. Types of Cookies Used
We classify the cookies used on SaleFre according to their purpose:
Essential (Technical) Cookies

Examples: cookies or parameters from the traffic-tracking service (linkfre.net), used only when the tracking functionality is active.
Advertising and Affiliate-Tracking Cookies
Used to track visits and conversions originating from our Amazon affiliate links. These cookies allow Amazon to recognize that a User arrived through SaleFre and to credit us with the corresponding commission in the event of a purchase.
Examples: Amazon Associates cookies (advertising ID, click-tracking cookies).
3. Amazon Affiliate Cookies (Amazon Associates)
Amazon Associates Program Cookies
SaleFre participates in the Amazon Associates Program. When a User clicks on an Amazon affiliate link on our site, Amazon may install cookies in the User's browser to track the referral and determine whether a purchase is made.
These affiliate cookies allow Amazon to:
- Identify that the User came from SaleFre (referral cookies).
- Track purchases during the attribution window (generally 24 hours from the click).
- Credit us with the corresponding commission without this affecting the final price paid by the User.

Important: If the User decides to disable essential cookies, some features of the Site may be affected or stop working properly.
7. Consent
SaleFre does not currently have a cookie banner that granularly and separately records acceptance or rejection of specific cookie categories. Instead, consent for the installation of non-essential cookies (analytics and affiliate) is expressed through an informational/implied consent model: by continuing to browse the Site after having been informed about the use of cookies through this Cookie Policy, the User accepts such use.
A User who does not wish to accept non-essential cookies may:
- Leave the Site or refrain from continuing to browse after having been informed.
- Configure their browser to block or delete non-essential cookies, as detailed in the Managing and Configuring Cookies section of this policy.
SaleFre may, in the future, implement an explicit granular consent mechanism (for example, a banner with "accept all," "reject non-essential," and "manage preferences" options, with server-side logging of the User's choice). Should such a mechanism be implemented, this Cookie Policy will be updated accordingly to accurately reflect it.
The informed consent described above may be withdrawn at any time by changing the browser's cookie settings, as indicated in Section 6 of this policy.
8. Cookie Retention Periods
Cookies used on SaleFre have the following retention periods:
- Session cookies: remain active only during the browsing session and are deleted when the browser is closed.
- Persistent cookies: remain on the User's device for a set period (from 1 minute up to 2 years, depending on the cookie) or until the User deletes them manually.

9. Updates to This Cookie Policy
SaleFre may update this Cookie Policy whenever necessary to reflect changes in the cookies used, in applicable legal requirements, or in industry practices.

If significant changes are made, Users will be notified through a prominent notice on the Site or, where applicable, by email to registered Users.
